I learned how the beads are actually created. I went to Cape Coast and walked where my ancestors did through the door of no return. However by coming to Ghana I entered the door if return to my ancestors original homeland. I viewed the tallest waterfalls in West Africa, Wli Waterfall. So tranquil and amazingly beautiful. I dined at amazing restaurants with amazing nightlife. Labadi Beach, and Sand Box has excellent food with night life. Tree House Restaurant has succulent grouper and fish curry. Every place every moment every experience has been exquisite. Thank you William and Kwame for this experience.

My tour guide William, picked me up from the airport and showed me around... read more the beautiful landmass of Accra as we traveled by SUV to Cape Coast, Elmina, Kumasi, the Asante Village, Jamestown, Prampram, and the mountains to see the vast communities and historical sites. William is well-experienced, knowledgeable,  and diverse in the rich history and culture of the country, and he speaks many dialects and languages, which makes it easy to fit into the communities. He insured my safety throughout my visit, explained my daily itinerary, and made my visit there more than spectacular. I will definitely book again with this company and look forward to attending a tour each year with Tours and Arts Solutions. The weather was perfect each day, the Ghanaian cuisines were so tasty, the fruit drinks were delicious, the people were warm and welcoming, and the hotels were 5-star and opulent with beautiful pools and beaches. I especially loved the greenery and the tropical scenery all throughout my journey. The Biotanical Garden was one of my favorite sites. I was amazed to see the animals living in their natural habitats and observed the land to be so rich with natural red soil. My heart overflowed with emotions while visiting the slave ports in Jamestown and the Door of No Return. I had an up-close, sensitive, and personal experience while visiting the places where our ancestors were captured, brutalized, and sold into slavery. I walked in the river and connected to the spirits of the ancestors who took their last baths there before being forced onto the slave ships and sold as slaves. I enjoyed visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Sites and seeing where WEB Dubois lived out the rest of his life. What an amazing trip! TC Nubiance
